Question: Is E-Transfer free?
Answer: Most financial institutes do not charge on E-Transfer but there may be exceptions
Question: How is the summary of donation used?
Answer: The generated summary of donation contains details of the donation which can be used to populate the message field of an E-Transfer request. The summary will tell how EACO should process your donation
Question: Can I reuse the generated code for fund allocation?
Answer: No. The old code will be outdated when designated funds are added or removed. So please generate the code each time to avoid confusion.
Question: What if I can’t decide which fund to donate to?
Operation Fund is devoted to our church daily operation purposes including mortgage payments.
Building Fund is for building maintenance and property management.
Mission Fund is for missionaries and mission-related activities.
Benevolent Fund is for charitable uses.
Mission Fund, Benevolent Fund and Designated Fund are devoted to their specific purposes. The church cannot use these funds for daily operation or other purposes. If you cannot decide which fund to donate, please consider the general fund as it is the most flexible and may be directed to other funds if needed.
Question: What if the bank E-transfer message field is not long enough for the summary of donation?
Answer: Please send an email to offering@eaco.ca indicating your allocation of funds
